Bio
Lilianne Coeverden is a composer and songwriter for musical theatre, film, and pop, known for her lyrical storytelling, emotional clarity, and theatrical wit. A graduate of Berklee College of Music in Film Scoring and Musical Theatre, she brings both creative vision and strong technical craft to narrative‑driven projects across formats. Born and raised in Montréal, Lilianne’s artistic voice was shaped early by her love of language, history, and music. After years of exploring orchestral instruments, she discovered composition at age twelve and went on to write both a symphony and a full‑length opera before graduating high school.
Lilianne Coeverden has received multiple international awards and selections for her work as a composer and writer. Her music has earned Best Score honors at Ffilmic Festival (2026) and Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival (2025), along with national recognition in Canada including 2nd place of Canadian Federation of Music Teachers Association (2020) and a winner at the Festival de Musique Classique de Montréal (2019) and composer for a semi‑finalist placement on Canada’s Got Talent(2024).
Her animated musical short Am I Dreaming received Best Animated Film awards at the Monthly Future of Film Awards and Eastern Europe Film Festival, along with numerous international official selections. As a film composer, her work has screened at major festivals including TIFF Next Wave, NFFTY, Asian American International Film Festival, and Hamilton Film Festival, with awards for Best Student Film and Audience Choice. She is currently based in Los Angeles/Montreal, focusing on film score development while continuing to expand original story‑driven works across stage, screen, and short‑form audiovisual media.
